AppVerix Product Options: Terms of Service

These terms are an agreement between you (the Shopify merchant who installs the app) and AppVerix (“we”). By installing AppVerix Product Options you agree to them.
1. What the app does
The app lets you build option sets (custom fields with optional extra prices), shows them on your product pages through a theme block and adds the extra price to the cart and checkout through a Shopify Function (cart transform). The app does not change your orders after checkout, does not edit your inventory and does not charge your customers for the app.
2. Price and billing
- Two plans, both with unlimited orders and a 7-day free trial: Starter at $9.99 USD every 30 days (3 option sets on) and Pro at $19.99 USD every 30 days (25 option sets on, conditional logic). The price is not based on revenue or order volume.
- Shopify bills you on your Shopify invoice. We never see your card.
- To change plan or cancel, use the app or uninstall it. Shopify stops the charge. We don’t refund partial periods unless Shopify’s rules or the law require it.
- If we change a price we tell you at least 30 days before, and you approve the new charge in Shopify.
3. Your responsibilities
- The option sets are yours. You are responsible for the prices and products you set and for making sure your offer is lawful where you sell.
- Check each set with a test order on your theme before you rely on it. Required fields are checked in the shopper’s browser and express checkout buttons can skip the product page.
- Don’t delete the hidden “Options add-on (AppVerix, do not delete)” product or the cart transform in Shopify; the app recreates them when you save a set, but carts may be priced without the add-on in the meantime.
- Don’t use the app for anything illegal.
4. Data
How we handle data is in our Privacy Policy. We do not store personal data of your customers.
5. Availability and changes
We try to keep the app running but don’t promise it will never be down. Your store and checkout keep working if the block or the Function cannot load; in that case the add-on price may not apply and the items are sold at their base price. We may change or improve features, and tell you in advance if we remove something you pay for.
6. Liability
The app is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing here limits liability that can’t be limited by law.
7. Ending
You can stop at any time by uninstalling. We may suspend or end your use if you break these terms, with notice where reasonable. After you uninstall your data is deleted as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Law
These terms are governed by applicable law. Disputes will be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction, unless consumer or other mandatory law in your country says otherwise.
9. Data Processing Addendum
By installing the app you also agree to the AppVerix Data Processing Addendum. It explains how we process personal data for you as your processor, which subprocessors we use, our security measures, deletion and how we notify you of a breach. Our security and incident response policy is public.
